Robyn Compton

Robyn Compton is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, with many years experience working in women's health, pregnancy & diabetes. She has a private practice based at Royal Women's Hospital, Melbourne where she sees patients in person & offers telehealth. Robyn previously worked as the Dietitian in Charge at the Women's & the consultant dietitian to Diabetes Australia. She has a special interest in Gestational Diabetes (GD), but also sees women with other nutrition concerns in pregnancy & pre-pregnancy as well as people with Type 1 & 2 Diabetes. She gives monthly "Nutrition for Pregnancy" talks at a busy obstetric practice in Melbourne, writes daily blogs on her GD instagram & has enjoyed being interviewed on GD & diet for a number of recent podcasts. More recently Robyn has been involved as a research dietitian, for a study on Type 1 diabetes and closed loop hybrid therapy, at Royal Mellbourne Hospital. She enjoys the balance of clinical work & research.
